COFFEE + SLACK

A quick meeting.

Start a Coffee meeting from Slack, or receive your Coffee notifications privately with a link back to your work.

Connect Slack in Coffee

Sign in, choose your workspace, then open Settings → Integrations → Slack.

Three commands. Less switching.

/coffee
Open the action menu to start a meeting, manage notifications, or disconnect.
/coffee instant
Create an instant Coffee meeting and get its join link in Slack. Share the link with the people you want to invite.
/coffee notification
Turn personal notifications on or off. Notifications go directly to you, rather than the channel where you run the command.

Connect your account

  1. Sign in to Coffee and select the workspace you want to connect.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations → Slack and select Connect.
  3. Select your Slack workspace, review the permissions, and choose Allow. Your Slack administrator may need to approve the installation.
  4. Return to Coffee to confirm the connection. In Slack, type /coffee in a conversation to open the menu.
  5. Turn on notifications in Coffee’s integration settings or with /coffee notification. Notifications are off until you enable them.

Each teammate connects their own Coffee account. You need a Coffee account and workspace membership. The integration has no separate fee; your Coffee plan and usage limits apply.

Your notifications stay personal

Coffee uses Slack messaging permissions to deliver your enabled notifications and command replies. It does not read Slack channel history or send Slack messages to an AI model.

To disconnect your account, use /coffee logout or remove Slack in Coffee’s integration settings. To remove the app for everyone, a Slack workspace administrator can uninstall Coffee from Slack’s app settings.

Need help?

If a command is unavailable, check that Coffee is installed in the Slack workspace you are using. If the connection has expired, reconnect from Coffee. Missing notifications? Check the notification switch and make sure you connected the intended Coffee workspace.
