Zoom integration guide
Connect your own Zoom account to create meeting links while scheduling in Coffee. You need a Coffee account, membership in a workspace, and a Zoom account. Your Zoom plan and meeting limits apply.
Connect Zoom
- Sign in to Coffee and open your workspace.
- Open Settings → Integrations → Zoom, then choose Connect.
- Sign in to Zoom and review the permissions. Choose Allow to return to Coffee.
- Your Zoom email appears under Connected accounts. If your organisation requires app approval, ask your Zoom administrator to approve Coffee.
Create and use a meeting link
- Create a scheduled Coffee meeting and enter its title, date, and time.
- Select Zoom as the location, choose Use account, then Create link.
- Save the Coffee meeting to keep the generated Zoom join link.
- Open the saved link to join in Zoom. You can also choose Paste link to use a Zoom meeting you already created.
Creating a link creates a real meeting in your Zoom account, even if you later close the Coffee draft. Edits or cancellations in Coffee do not automatically update or delete that Zoom meeting. Manage those changes in Zoom too.
Disconnect or remove the app
In Coffee, open Settings → Integrations → Zoom, open the connected account, choose Remove, and confirm. This removes your connection from the current workspace. If that Zoom account is connected to other Coffee workspaces, those connections remain active.
To remove Coffee from all workspaces, sign in to Zoom Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find Coffee - Where AI Works, and choose Remove. Coffee deletes the connection credentials and account metadata when it receives Zoom’s deauthorization notification. Previously saved Coffee meetings and their links remain until you edit or delete them; disconnecting does not cancel Zoom meetings.
Permissions and data
Coffee reads your Zoom account ID and email to identify the connected account, and creates meetings using the title, start time, and duration you provide. OAuth credentials are encrypted and used only on Coffee’s backend. This connector does not read Zoom recordings, transcripts, participants, or chat messages.
See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. For data access or deletion requests, contact [email protected].
Troubleshooting
- Connection window does not open: allow pop-ups for Coffee, then try Connect again.
- Reconnect required: open the connected account in Settings → Integrations → Zoom and choose Reconnect.
- Meeting creation fails: check that the end is after the start and the title is at most 200 characters. Check Zoom account restrictions and try again, or paste an existing Zoom link.
- Wrong account: remove the connection in Coffee and connect again using the intended Zoom account.
For help, email [email protected] with the error message and the time it occurred. Do not send passwords or OAuth tokens.
Linear integration guide
Connect Coffee projects to Linear teams or projects. Choose one-way or two-way sync for task titles, descriptions, due dates, and new comments.
- Open Settings → Integrations → Linear in your Coffee workspace and choose Connect.
- Choose your Linear workspace, review the read and write permissions, and authorize Coffee. Your Linear workspace may require administrator approval.
- Choose a Linear destination and sync direction for each Coffee project, enable its mapping, and save changes. You must be a Coffee project owner or administrator.
- Choose Sync now to include existing tasks. Subsequent task changes and new comments follow the selected direction.
Workflow statuses, assignees, labels, attachments, existing comment history, and comment edits are not synced. For Linear projects shared by several teams, the destination shows the team used to create issues.
Turn off a project mapping and save changes to pause sync while preserving its task links. Disconnecting the integration revokes authorization and leaves existing tasks in place. Deleted or archived Linear issues archive their linked Coffee tasks, preserving local discussions and attachments.
If a destination is missing, check your Linear permissions and choose Refresh destinations. Reconnect if Coffee requests fresh authorization. For help, email [email protected].
